Who we are
OwnLead is run by George Stephens, based in Dartford, Kent. George is responsible for the personal information you send through this website. If you have any questions about this policy or your information, email info@ownlead.co.uk.
What we collect
When you use the "Claim a slot" form, we collect what you type in: your name, business name, trade, the area you cover, phone number, email address, the plan you're interested in and any message. We also record the time you sent it and the page you sent it from.
Like every website, our hosting provider keeps short-term technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site running and secure.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and talk to you about OwnLead's services. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
- To keep a record of enquiries so nothing gets lost.
We don't sell your information, and we don't add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.
Who handles it for us
We use a small number of trusted providers to run the site and deliver your enquiry to us:
- Zapier receives form submissions and forwards them to our inbox. Zapier is based in the United States; transfers are made under the safeguards UK data protection law requires.
- Google Workspace provides our email.
- Render hosts this website.
How long we keep it
If your enquiry doesn't lead to working together, we delete it within 12 months. If you become a client, we keep your details for as long as we work together and for up to six years afterwards for tax and legal records.
Cookies
This website doesn't set any cookies. If we ever add analytics that use cookies, we'll ask for your consent first and update this policy.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Email info@ownlead.co.uk and we'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
